A portrait of a hopelessly romantic Trout who longs for the companionship of the Lonely Daffodil, just out of reach on the bank of the river. The Daffodil also longs for companionship but cannot see the Trout for it's own reflection until it droops forward in despair and is finally united with the Tender Trout.
